Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technologist RE to provide patient services with diagnostic ultrasound equipment. This role requires competency in production and analysis of ultrasound images for physician diagnoses.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited School of Sonography and be certified by the ARDMS. Benefits include comprehensive medical insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Certified by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services using diagnostic ultrasound equipment.
• Assist radiologist with special examinations.
• Calculate mathematical functions for imaging.
• Demonstrate competency with RIS and PACS.
• Maintain clean examination rooms and stock levels in procedure rooms.
