The Hay-Adams in Washington, DC seeks a Turndown Attendant to prepare occupied guest rooms for night service, keeping standards of our luxury boutique hotel. You will work closely with housekeeping to ensure rooms are welcoming and well maintained.

You will clean and restock rooms, set up turndown amenities, handle towels and glasses, and maintain a stocked cart while following safety guidelines and hotel policies.

Qualifications

• Education: A high school education or its equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous Housekeeping experience preferred. Room Attendant makes an excellent Turndown Attendant.
• Language Skills: Must be able to understand, speak, read and write Basic English.
• Physical Ability: Lift or move weights 10–30 pounds; frequent standing and walking.

Responsabilités

• Turn down service for every occupied room and prepare for night.
• Complete all assigned turndown rooms within the standard time frame.
• Clean and restock assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Set up turndown amenities as required.
• Remove dirty glasses, replace with clean ones; handle towels and robes.
• Keep turndown cart stocked and organized; report maintenance issues.
