Job summary

Kenworth Sales Co. in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Parts Counter Representative (2nd Shift) to handle internal and external customer requests for parts purchases.

Schedule: 3:30pm- Midnight. The primary function is to handle internal and external customer requests for parts purchases; duties include invoicing, quotes, and order processing, plus coordinating with the Service Department for timely parts availability and collaborating with sales teams.

Qualifications

• English literacy required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 years heavy duty truck parts experience.
• Mechanical aptitude desirable.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to operate warehouse forklift and complete formal training.
• Understanding of bills of lading, freight bills, and parts for heavy/medium duty diesel trucks.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with inquiries and parts sales, in person, by phone, and electronically.
• Research customer requests and determine correct part(s).
• Create purchase orders when not in stock and process orders.
• Provide quotes for parts requested and transfer/post approved parts to work orders.
• Monitor invoices, will-call tickets, and quotes for compliance.
• Assist with inventory and core returns to vendors.
• Maintain retail area, restock shelves, and organize parts bins.
• Deliver parts to customers when needed.
• Coordinate with Service Department to ensure availability of parts.
• Collaborate with inside/outside sales teams to meet customer needs.
• Complete all required job-related training.
