Job summary

HonorHealth's Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale seeks a Physician Assistant to provide services in the Trauma Center and Emergency Department under physician supervision. The role includes detailed histories, exams, treatment, and counseling. May perform procedures as credentialed.

Candidate must have an AMA-accredited PA program, a minimum of 1 year experience in surgical/trauma settings, and Arizona PA licensure with national certification. Experience with trauma patients is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an AMA accredited school for Physician Assistants.
• 1 year of Physician Assistant experience.
• Experience with surgical patients and trauma patient population preferred.
• Arizona licensure as Physician Assistant and national certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient services under supervision of a physician in the Trauma Center and ED.
• Performs detailed histories and physical exams in trauma settings.
• Assists surgeons and coordinates patient management with the surgical team.
• Completes orders, notes, and discharge summaries per Medical Staff guidelines.
• Mentors staff and participates in clinical education and quality improvement.
