Job summary

HonorHealth's Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale seeks a Physician Assistant to support trauma care in the Emergency Department and Trauma Center. You will perform histories and exams, assist surgeons, and help manage patient care across shifts.

You will educate patients and families, participate in rounds and handoffs, and maintain credentialing while advancing evidence-based practice with the trauma team.

Qualifications

• AZ PA license and national certification required.
• Minimum 1 year as a Physician Assistant.
• Experience with surgical and trauma patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Round daily on trauma patients in the ED and trauma areas.
• Assist surgeons in trauma patient management and consultations.
• Complete histories, physicals, orders, and discharge summaries.
• Educate patients and families on plan of care and discharge needs.
• Participate in rounds, handoffs, and quality improvement activities.
