DAYTON CHILDREN'S is seeking a part-time Mental Health Technician (MHT) for the Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness. The role involves direct care of mental health patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Licensed Mental Health Clinician, delivered with a trauma-informed, therapeutic approach.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe milieu, performing safety checks, and assisting with activities of daily living.

Qualifications

• Need strong therapeutic communication skills and ability to work with patients and families.
• Licensed mental health care guidelines followed; trauma-informed care values understood.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care to mental health patients under RN or LMHC supervision.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu and complete routine safety checks.
• Assist with activities of daily living and document patient information per policy.
