Job summary

Greenway Waste & Recycling is seeking Part-Time Evening Trash Collectors to service communities in the Plainfield area. You will collect bagged trash, transport waste, and walk communities during evening hours, working independently with paid training provided.

Positions run Sunday-Thursday evenings starting at 8:00 PM, with 1–4 hours per night and guaranteed hours. This is a 1099 contractor role offering flexible, consistent side work.

Qualifications

• Requires reliable transportation to service multiple communities.
• Must own a pickup truck, trailer, or cargo van.
• Must have a smartphone for work communication.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Collect bagged trash and recycling from residents’ doorsteps.
• Transport waste to on-site dumpster or compactor area.
• Walk the apartment community during service hours.
• Work independently while following company policies and safety procedures.
