Job summary

Discovery Ranch South in Cedar City, Utah, is seeking a part-time Teacher's Aide to support middle and high school students in a therapeutic residential setting. You will assist teachers across Social Studies, Science, Math, or Language Arts, help students with assignments, and track progress with advisees.

This floating TA role requires collaboration with teachers, the Academic Director, and other staff to deliver consistent, quality instruction and maintain a unified team approach.

Qualifications

• Complete at least 48 college credits OR hold an Associate's degree OR have Praxis ParaPro within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom instruction in Social Studies, Science, Math or Language Arts depending on need.
• Help middle and high school students learn the curriculum and complete assignments.
• Meet weekly with advisees to set goals, monitor progress, and provide encouragement.
• Coordinate with teachers and Academic Director to ensure consistent, quality instruction.
