Job summary

Discovery Ranch for Boys, located in Mapleton, Utah, is seeking a Tutor to support struggling teens in Math, Science and English. This entry-level role offers flexible hours (Mon-Thu 3:00-8:30 pm, Fri 2:00-5:00 pm) with a part-time schedule within a residential therapeutic setting.

You will work one-on-one with students, help create a safe learning environment, and use a strengths-based approach to support healing and academic progress.

Qualifications

• Academic tutoring experience preferred but not required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• First Aid & CPR certification (we may provide).

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with students to meet Math, Science and/or English goals.
• Create a safe, supervised learning environment.
• Use a strengths-based approach to help students see the good within themselves.
