Job summary

Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. The role requires maintaining sterile technique, prepping and assisting in procedures, and ensuring equipment readiness while adhering to safety standards.

The ideal candidate will be a CST with completion of an accredited surgical technology program (CAAHEP) or military surgical technology training, and will join a dedicated, patient-centered team in a high-volume hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAAHEP, Surgical Technology Program OR Military Surgical Technology Program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA or TS-C from NCCT is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sterile environment.
• Ensure equipment functionality.
• Support both invasive and non-invasive procedures while prioritizing patient safety.
• Act under supervision of a licensed professional.
