Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the OR team. The CST will scrub for and assist in a variety of surgical procedures, providing instrumentation, supplies and equipment and supporting nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a nationally accredited Surgical Technology program (or military training), and CST certification.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for and assist in a variety of surgical procedures, providing instrumentation, supplies and equipment for operations.
• Assist in nursing care activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Support the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient operating room flow.
