Job summary

Centurion Health in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Full-time Evening Substance Use Disorder Peer Recovery Specialist to join our Baltimore Booking and Intake team. The PRS supports patients through detoxification and recovery and leads recovery groups.

You will help build community and relationships critical to ongoing care. You must have PRSS certification, a High School diploma or equivalent, CPR/BLS, and at least one year of patient-facing experience; corrections experience is preferred, and you

Qualifications

• PRSS certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year or more of experience working with patients and connecting them to resources.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Support patients in their substance use and detoxification/recovery process.
• Lead recovery groups for patients in the program.
• Build community and relationships with patients and families.
• Connect patients to community resources and supports.
