Job summary

Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) seeks a part-time Evening Activities Monitor to supervise students in the Library, IN2, and Fitness Center during evening hours. duties include checking sign-in, guiding study goals, and ensuring a focused environment while coordinating with IRC staff.

This role is non-exempt, employment-at-will, from late August to late May each year, reporting to the Information Resource Center Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with a variety of individuals and diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the Library, IN2, and Fitness Center during evening hours.
• Follow opening and closing procedures for facilities.
• Document attendance and support Evening Study goals.
• Provide circulation services and assist daytime staff with reference queries.
