Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking an Evening Stocker for our South Bend, IN location. This part-time role is responsible for stocking and merchandising back-room and floor areas, ensuring accuracy of product locations, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, retail experience, and basic math skills. Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential to meet guest experience guidelines and store standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
• Fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on the sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Be familiar with all products carried and know their locations in the store.
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines.
• Maintain clean, attractive and well-stocked departments.
• Follow PPE and safety guidelines.
• Follow all food safety and cleaning expectations.
• Follow guest experience guidelines.
