Job summary

St. Peter's Hospital in the Capital Region of New York is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for the Evening Shift (3pm - 11pm) on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities include supplying, processing, and distributing sterile items to OR, Cath Lab, OB, X-ray and other units, with strong emphasis on organization, communication, and proper sterilization procedures. This role supports patient care by ensuring instruments are ready and compliant with hospital standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Sterile Processing Technician Certification preferred.
• Prior experience in SPD or hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support for hospital operations as part of the SPD team.
• Supply, process, and distribute sterile supplies to OR, Cath Lab, OB, X-ray and other units.
• Maintain organized sterilization procedures and accurate documentation.
