Job summary

Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for an ambulatory surgery center in Vancouver, WA. The role ensures surgical instruments are cleaned, sterilized, assembled and ready for the next day.

The candidate should have 1–2 years in sterile processing, with CRCST/CBSPD preferred. Ability to work independently, stand for long periods, and lift 25–30 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in sterile processing in a medical setting.
• CRCST and/or CBSPD certification preferred; non-certified candidates with experience may be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 25–30 lbs.
• Be able to prioritize and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize instruments and trays.
• Operate autoclaves and other sterilizers per protocols.
• Perform biological and chemical sterilization tests as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation per regulatory standards.
• Restock and organize sterile storage areas.
• Collaborate with clinical teams for instrument readiness.
• Support end-of-day shutdown procedures for next-day preparedness.
