CHOC in Orange, CA seeks a Sterile Processing Technician II to perform decontamination, preparation/assembly, sterilization, and distribution of trays and sets. You will maintain logs, manage the instrument tracking system, and ensure inventory while providing exceptional customer service.

The role requires at least two years in Sterile Processing, relevant certifications, and the ability to work evenings in a four-ten hour shift schedule. Prior experience in a children's hospital is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma/GED and certification from IAHCSMM or CBSPD.
• Minimum two years of Sterile Processing experience required.
• Preferred: more than two years of Sterile Processing experience in a Children's Hospital setting.

Responsabilités

• Performs decontamination, preparation/assembly, sterilization, and distribution of trays and sets, and maintains sterilization logs.
• Maintains instrument tracking system and supply inventory.
• Participates in distribution of supplies to departments with excellent customer service.
• Performs routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of department equipment.
