Job summary

Howard Head Sports Medicine in Edwards, CO is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech for full-time evening shifts (4pm-11pm). The role may float to the Vail location to support operations, with a focus on maintaining sterile instrument sets and documenting processes to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must possess, or obtain within 90 days, computer skills for online learning, forms and benefits enrollment.
• Must be HIPAA compliant.
• Must have working knowledge of the English language, reading, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, inspections, and sterilization techniques per standards for SPC.
• Maintain instrument sets ensuring cleanliness, completeness, function and sterility.
• Document sterilization processes in log books.
• Carefully and efficiently use supplies and liners to facilitate quality care and cost efficiency.
• Act as a preceptor to new employees and support teamwork.
