Inova Fair Oaks Hospital Sterile Processing is seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Tech 1 for the evening shift (2:00pm–10:30pm), Monday–Friday with every other weekend in Fairfax, VA.

The role focuses on assembling instrumentation, ensuring sterility, decontaminating instruments, and managing inventory using tracking software. Training and growth opportunities are available within Inova’s trusted health system.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Preferred experience in sterile processing is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assembles instrumentation accurately and efficiently.
• Ensures sterility of all processed items.
• Decontaminates instruments safely.
• Manages instrument inventory and ensures timely distribution to customers.
• Uses instrument tracking software to document functions in assembly and storage areas.
• Operates sterilization equipment (Steam, Sterrad, Steris) and validates processes.
• Loads and unloads case carts, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
