Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Sterile processing training.
• Agreement to obtain certification in sterile processing within 1 year of hire.
• Membership in Central Sterile Processing Professional Organization.
• One year of general work experience.
• Graduate of a sterile processing program.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, prepare, and package medical-surgical supplies.
• Unload, sort, and deliver linen to departments.
• Complete sterilization procedures and monitor distribution of supplies.
• Maintain efficient processing flow and respond to health care provider/patient care needs.
