Job summary

Vistar is seeking a Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations in Livermore, CA. You will operate forklift and related equipment to move products from receiving to storage and prepare items for shipment.

Responsibilities include locating slots, stocking and replenishing pick faces, and ensuring safety and GMP compliance. Rely on hands-on skills and teamwork to maintain production flow and meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location

Responsibilities

• Locate proper slot on storage racks and set pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items.
• Transport incoming freight to inventory and replenish pick slots as per next day’s work orders.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and follow GMP and quality standards.
• Disperse over-stocked items and remove waste such as packing materials and pallets.
• Wrap up and document finished work and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
