Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for evening shifts (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation. Base pay is $36.90/hour with applicable shift differentials; benefits eligible. Requires Ohio RN license and BSN/AD with plan to obtain BSN within 5 years.

Qualifications

• BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Willing to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other necessary certification as determined by manager.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses patient needs and communicates care priorities to team members.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Maintains patient safety and advocacy aligned with ANA Code of Ethics.
