Job summary

Labcorp in Nashville, TN is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team. This role supports clinical specimen accessioning, sorting, data entry, and efficient processing in a high-throughput laboratory environment.

The position requires attention to detail, ability to work in a team, and comfort handling biological specimens. Monday–Friday 4pm-12:30am with rotating weekends; benefits apply for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience with data entry and basic lab processes is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Identify and label specimens accurately.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
