Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Las Vegas to support pharmacists by selecting, counting and labeling medications and supplies in accordance with state regulations.

You will handle manual and automated counting, restock filling stations, and help maintain clean work areas. A Nevada Pharmacy Technician license is required, with part-time evening hours and a 40-hour weekly schedule anticipated.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada Pharmacy Technician License
• Stand for 8-10 hours per shift
• Lift 5-10 lbs repeatedly; up to 30-50 lbs occasionally
• Use keyboard and operate departmental machinery
• Work near moving machinery (conveyor belts)

Responsibilities

• Selects, picks, packages and labels medications and supplies under pharmacist supervision.
• Counts medications accurately using manual and automated devices.
• Maintains proper hand sanitization and hazardous medication handling practices.
• Performs duties of an Operations Assistant as needed.
• Restocks filling station with medications and supplies.
• Cleans pill counting devices/equipment and general work areas.
