Job summary

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technician for the Sleep Center in Albany, NY. This full-time role features an evening 12-hour shift and opportunities within a compassionate care network.

The technician will lead sleep testing procedures, ensure high-quality records, and support Licensed Polysomnographic Technologists. AAS in polysomnography or respiratory therapy with NYS licensure is required, with RPSGT preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited polysomnography program with RPSGT and NYS license.
• Or graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with an AAS and NYS license; RPSGT preferred.
• 1–3 years of sleep lab experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use applied technology in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform various sleep testing procedures adhering to department standards to produce high-quality records.
• Act as a resource for Licensed Polysomnographic Technicians.
