Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a part-time Shuttle Bus Driver to transport patients, visitors, and staff across the Main Campus and events. You will ensure safe, courteous service, assist passengers with wheelchairs, and perform daily vehicle safety inspections.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, adherence to DOT regulations, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and readiness for operation. Evening shift supports the campus operations.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write sufficiently to fill out maintenance checklists and reports.
• Able to follow verbal directions and communicate clearly and concisely.
• Commercial driving training for safe handling of a shuttle bus (up to 40 passengers).
• Possess a valid State CDL with air brakes and passenger endorsement; less than 6 points on record.

Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle buses to connect Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, employee parking areas and events.
• Assist passengers with boarding, especially those with mobility challenges; operate wheelchair lift and secure wheelchairs.
• Maintain safe, courteous, and reliable transportation with strong customer service.
• Perform daily safety inspections and report any vehicle deficiencies before dispatch.
