Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join a safety-conscious team in Laredo, Texas. This role supports warehouse operations, offices, and the safety team with clerical tasks and data entry using WMS and Blue Yonder.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of office experience, 2+ years in a warehouse setting, and proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word. The position offers a 3:00 pm–12:00 am schedule and healthcare benefits.

Qualifications

1–2 years of general office experience required.
2+ years of warehouse clerk experience preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
AS400 experience preferred.
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

Perform office and administrative duties including accounts payable/receivable and reporting.
Involve yourself in the safety team as required by location.
Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements.
Communicate with drivers, operators, customers on site, and leadership team.
Daily use of Outlook, Excel, and Blue Yonder.
Look for missing product in storage locations.
Work with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventory.
Audit inbound receipts, both physically and through receipt documentation.
Accurately input required data elements into WMS and various other applications.
Audit existing data for inaccurate data.
Identify, log, and document potential damages.
Assist with daily and weekly reports.
Other projects and tasks assigned by supervision.
