Job summary

Lakeside Health & Rehab Center in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced RN to step into the Evening Nursing Supervisor role on the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift.

The Evening Nursing Supervisor will lead the nursing team, ensure high-quality resident care, and collaborate with physicians, families, and staff while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in Virginia.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute settings preferred.
• Nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to lead and support a nursing team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff during the evening shift.
• Oversee delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centered care.
• Serve as primary clinical resource and leader during assigned hours.
• Support RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing team members.
• Respond to changes in resident condition, clinical concerns, and urgent situations.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with staffing needs and ensure appropriate coverage throughout the shift.
• Ensure documentation, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, communication, and a positive work environment.
• Provide hands-on clinical support when needed.
