Huntsville Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Evening Shift Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. You will provide skilled nursing care, clinical leadership, and support residents and families overnight.

The role offers an evening schedule, competitive pay with a $2.50/hour differential, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to changes in resident condition.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident nursing care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and respond promptly.
• Communicate significant changes to physicians and nursing leadership.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and changes in resident condition.
• Provide guidance and supervision to LPNs and CNAs as appropriate.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond to resident needs and concerns with professionalism and compassion.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory procedures.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life.
• Support effective shift-to-shift communication and continuity of nursing services
