South Health and Rehabilitation in Birmingham, Alabama seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting, assist with rehabilitation plans, and collaborate with the clinical team.

This full-time evening shift (3pm–11pm) includes a competitive hourly pay range of $32.65-$42.85, shift differential, comprehensive health/dental/vision, PTO and holidays, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license required.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric and rehabilitation care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document residents' health conditions and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding care plans and health conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Foster a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for residents.
• Supervise and mentor nursing assistants to ensure quality care delivery.
