Job summary

The RN will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Licensing and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing is required.
• Must be licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: collect, validate and synthesize patient data; prioritize needs and analyze data.
• Care planning: establish goals and develop interventions; timelines and evaluations of outcomes.
• Implementing care: administer medications and implement physician orders; coordinate and delegate care.
• Managing patient care: supervise staff, delegate tasks, ensure policy adherence and appropriate care.
