Job summary

Aviagen USA is seeking a Feed Mill Technician to operate all processing equipment used in feed production, ensuring safety and efficiency across shifts. You will receive, batch, grind and pellet, maintain cleanliness, complete FDA and production reports, and uphold bio-security, ISO sampling procedures, and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of business English and arithmetic.
• Computer literacy, experience in keyboard operation, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees
• Ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to maintain records and to generate reports which require extreme accuracy
• Ability to operate a forklift

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment for feed production.
• Receive, batch, grind, and pelletize.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete FDA and production reports.
• Maintain Bio-Security Protocol at all times.
• Obtain daily inventories.
• Maintain ISO sampling procedures.
• Engage in preventative maintenance.
• Engage in weekly Plant fumigation.
• May perform other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor
