Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Davenport Medical Center is seeking a part-time Patient Care Tech for the 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) in Davenport, IA. The role supports Registered Nurses and physicians, assists with patient care and non-patient tasks, and helps with housekeeping and equipment maintenance in the Medical/Pulmonary Unit.

Requires a High School diploma or GED; Basic Life Support training is required and CNA/medical terminology training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Basic Life Support training.
• Training Preferred: previous experience, healthcare student, CNA certification, medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to nursing staff and physicians in various patient care and non-patient care activities.
• Performs tasks in a caring and efficient manner that supports customer service and assists with department related housekeeping, and supply/equipment/facility maintenance tasks.
