Job summary

Trinity Health in Muskegon, MI seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Registered to perform a variety of chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic and diagnostic tests in Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology and Blood Bank. You will work on the Evening shift, 40 hours per week, with weekends and holidays scheduled per the CBA.

The role includes specimen handling, quality control, and reporting results to help physicians.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a health-related field with lab internship.
• ASCP certification or equivalent.
• Previous laboratory experience preferred.
• Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the organization.

Responsibilities

• Receives specimens, clarifies test requests, and ensures labeling.
• Operates, calibrates, and maintains equipment; participates in quality control.
• Performs testing in Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology and Blood Bank.
• Performs specimen collection duties as needed.
