Job summary

Avery Dennison in Ohio is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform planned, predictive, and emergency maintenance on automated equipment and power distribution systems. The role ensures peak uptime and safety adherence.

You will work 2PM to 10PM, Monday through Friday, with a starting rate of $31.47/hour plus a $2.00/hour shift differential. Ideal candidates have a technical maintenance background and hands-on PLC/electrical experience.

Qualifications

• Trade School Cert or Associate in Industrial Maintenance (Journeyman level equivalent).
• Analytical curiosity to identify root causes of failures.
• Experience with 3‑phase power, control circuits, schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Commitment to OSHA safety standards and effective production communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & repair of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, and conveyors.
• Execute preventive maintenance per schedules and OSHA guidelines.
• Read schematics, install wiring, and assemble production line machinery.
• Track downtime metrics and support facility HVAC/plumbing upkeep.
