Job summary

CJ Schwan's is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and food production equipment in a Pennsylvania plant. You'll diagnose issues, perform mechanical repairs, and support equipment setup to ensure smooth production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two-year degree preferred.
• 3+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness for varying shifts including overtime and weekends.
• Basic to advanced mechanical, electrical, and building skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot conveyor systems and production machinery.
• Perform mechanical repairs: shaft keying, broaching, gear head replacement, welding, hose fabrication, and belt maintenance.
• Assist with setup, teardown, welding, fabrication, and installation of machinery.
• Diagnose issues using observation, tools, and measuring instruments; identify root causes.
• Use SAP to document maintenance activities and coordinate with teams.
