Job summary

Stratas Foods in Dallas, TX is hiring a Machine Operator for the Monday–Friday shift (6:00pm–2:30am) with occasional weekend work and overtime. Duties include line maintenance, packaging, and basic equipment operation.

You will perform housekeeping, lubrication, packaging tasks, and quality checks under supervision. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and previous manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer knowledge related to data handling and records.

Responsibilities

• Keep lines stocked with packaging materials.
• Fill out appropriate paperwork related to lines CCPs, production, and packaging materials.
• Basic troubleshooting and repair of packaging equipment.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment on the line.
• Communicate with supervisor when line is down or needs attention.
• Report/resolve any observed quality issues while operating the line.
• Proper start up, running and shut down of the line.
