Job summary

SoftPath Medical in Ohio seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our clinical team. The role covers direct patient care, medication administration, and coordination with physicians in a minimum security facility.

You will work a rotating schedule from Tuesday through Saturday, 1:45 PM to 9:45 PM, with potential overtime for coverage. You will provide nursing care under supervision, assist with exams, respond to emergencies (CPR), document care, manage supplies, and support lower-level staff.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license required.
• Experience with medication administration.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision by RN/physician/dentist or other licensed professional.
• Assist physicians with exams, treatments, and laboratory tests.
• Respond to medical emergencies, CPR, and restraining patients when necessary.
• Administer medications, including injections and non-controlled meds, and provide patient instructions.
• Maintain medication accountability and stock, including charting and records.
• Observe, document, and report patient conditions and treatment responses.
