Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking an Evening Shift Environmental Services Group Lead in Quakertown, PA to coordinate and supervise EVS staff and ensure clean, safe hospital environments.

Qualifications

• Three to six months of experience in housekeeping in hospital or institutional setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and facilitates moves and set-ups as requested by other departments and off-site buildings.
• Coordinates the opening of the shift assigning aides to work schedules, issuing keys and pagers in the absence of the supervisor.
• Coordinates work assignments and delegates work to Environmental Services aides.
• Assists in orientation of new employees through training and working with them in assigned area(s).
• Assists in planning, monitoring and implementation of the Environmental Services daily functions.
• Ensures all discharges and transfers are completed in a timely manner.
• Assists with quality control inspections and follows up on results to meet hospital standards.
