Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. is seeking a Test Technician in Greensboro, NC to perform operational tests, fault isolation, and data collection. You will support Design, Characterization and Product Teams while performing preventive and corrective maintenance, product changeovers, and troubleshooting to determine root causes.

The role requires an Associate degree in a technical field and 1+ years in an engineering lab. You will hand-solder small components with a microscope, while adapting to a 3rd shift schedule

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent military training.
• 1+ years of experience in an engineering lab environment.
• Willing to learn new skills, become proficient, and advance to assume greater responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
• Creation of test plans, measurement of parts, data collection and initial analysis.
• Direct interaction supporting Design, Characterization and Product Teams.
• Perform equipment preventive maintenance, unplanned corrective maintenance, and product changeovers.
• Station Setups/Calibrations and trouble shoot to determine root cause of failures.
• Hand solder components as small as 0402, QFN, using microscope.
