Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and polish floors using heavy floor machines.
• Collect and dispose of garbage and trash.
• Move furniture and fixtures as needed.
• Clean walls, ceilings, windows, and fixtures; dust and scrub surfaces.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and extract carpets in offices and classrooms.
• Assist students, staff and the public as assigned by supervisor.
• Transport teaching supplies and equipment as required.
• Maintain custodial equipment and perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Maintain grounds including lawn care, trimming and raking.
