Job summary

The CNC Machinist role at The HEICO Companies, LLC involves producing precision machined components and brazed chassis assemblies for aerospace and defense sectors in a fast-paced shop. You will collaborate with CNC programmers, quality inspectors, and production control to meet customer quality requirements.

You will setup, prove out, and operate various CNC equipment, including 5-axis milling; troubleshoot issues, load fixtures, and perform in-process inspection while ensuring 5S standards and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years CNC setup experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mandatory 4th axis machining experience.
• Prototyping and first piece development with programs experience a plus.
• Capable of running and setting up all CNC machines in the department.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints a must.

Responsibilities

• Setup, prove out new programs, and operate CNC equipment.
• Collaborate with CNC programming for process development on the floor.
• Troubleshoot tool, offset, and program issues to maintain quality.
• Load and fixture parts in machine workholding and perform in-process inspection.
• Interpret CMM data to modify processes and ensure compliance.
• Perform manual machining as required and train others.
