Job summary

Moundville Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the 3:00 PM-11:00 PM evening shift in Moundville, AL. Base pay ranges from $14.00 to $17.30 per hour, depending on experience.

You will work with RNs, LPNs, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support residents’ dignity, independence, and quality of life. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama CNA certification in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using safe patient-handling techniques.
• Maintain documentation per facility policies and promote resident comfort and dignity.
