Job summary

Highlands Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Birmingham, AL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our patient-centered care team. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, support hydration, and collaborate with nursing staff to implement personalized care plans.

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Alabama
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to the healthcare team
Assisting with mealtime and hydration needs
Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients
Collaborating with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
