Job summary

Birmingham Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Forestdale, AL, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a full-time basis. Shifts available: 7-3 and 11-7.

You will provide high-quality patient care, assist with daily living activities, monitor patient changes, and collaborate with licensed nursing staff to create personalized care plans. Salary range $14.00-$17.20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a CNA.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to licensed nurses
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatments
• Participate in patient education and training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned by licensed nursing staff
