Job summary

Good Samaritan in Larimore, ND is hiring a full-time Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the 8-hour evening shift. 40 weekly hours with a wage range of $21.00–$25.50 per hour and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The role includes helping residents with daily living activities, taking vital signs, and supporting the nursing team.

Candidate must have CNA certification with the State Board, or be in the process of certification. Experience in long-term care is preferred; high school diploma or GED is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement. CNA training and certification required and provided by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of an RN.
• Assist with basic health care needs including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, vital signs, and psychosocial support.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse; assist with wellness and recreational activities.
