Modine Manufacturing Company in Grenada, MS is seeking a skilled Wiring Technician to join our manufacturing team, building high‑quality electrical control panels for data center chillers. You will read schematics, perform point‑to‑point wiring, install breakers and PLCs, and route wiring for safe, reliable operation.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in panel wiring or electrical assembly, can read drawings, use hand and power tools, and lift up to 50 lb.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or related field.
• Knowledge of pressure testing procedures, leak detection methods, and chiller systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices for electrical work.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, wiring standards, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and efficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC wiring and troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to assemble control panels.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and component installation, including circuit breakers, relays, power supplies, and PLCs.
• Route and secure wiring neatly to meet safety standards.
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing of panels before final installation.
• Troubleshoot wiring or component issues to ensure proper operation.
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and assembly teams to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols and company standards.
