Job summary

TEMPO Employment Services in Presque Isle, ME, seeks an Assembly Specialist for a local manufacturer. This full-time evening shift runs 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with benefits after the introductory period. You will operate machinery, perform quality checks, and help meet daily production goals.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of manufacturing experience, read blueprints, and demonstrate attention to detail and manual dexterity. Drug screen and background check required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years of experience in assembly or production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions.
• Additional training in manufacturing, machining, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using proper techniques and machinery.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure parts meet standards.
• Operate and maintain tools and machines such as drill presses, grinders, and presses.
• Maintain records of production and document quality results.
• Identify and report issues with machinery or production and assist in troubleshooting.
