Qualifications

• Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual empowerment and advocacy to shelter residents.
• Respond to hotline inquiries offering crisis support.
• Conduct client screenings and documentation for shelter admissions.
• Assist residents in accessing resources for housing and healthcare.
• Facilitate resident group programming with the counseling department.
• Ensure security and well-being of residents.
• Organize donations and maintain shelter cleanliness.
• Remain on-site to ensure 24/7 coverage of the shelter.
