Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas in Batavia, IL is seeking a Sheeter Operator I to support sheet operations by preparing materials, assisting with machine setup, and ensuring smooth production flow.

The role emphasizes quality, safety, and collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a 2pm-12am shift and pay rate of $21.15 per hour. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read English and follow procedures.
• Team player with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with make-ready and setup of the sheeter.
• Prepare rolls for production, including staging, loading, and threading through tension rollers.
• Inspect rolls prior to sheeting and report non-conforming materials to Quality.
• Stage completed loads for the printing operation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including completion of sweep sheets.
• Follow all safety and operational procedures.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
